    The following are the expectations for today's December FOMC meeting as provided by the economists at 15 major banks. Goldman: Although it is still a close call, the strong employment numbers suggest that the FOMC will make some changes to its “considerable time” forward guidance at the December 16-17 meeting...So how will the language change? In the 2003-2004 playbook, “considerable period” gave way to “patient” as a signal that the hikes were drawing closer, and it is interesting that the words “patient” or “patience” have shown up quite frequently in recent Fed speeches. Right. Some bulls in the FED will be replaced by doves in 2015. So why should they send out a more bullish statement now and then they need to correct it in 2015? All analysts expect the "considerable time" to be changed. Expect it to stay!
As for FX reaction, I expect the USD firstly to fall >1 big fig in the first 30 minutes and then rise 2 big fig because keeping low rates helps the economy.

today is the D-day for USD to fall....look at JPY against USD in last couple of days...somebody already knew what FED has in store thus shorting USD against JPY...follow the money....USD cooling off a bit...GBP target 1.58...before settling down on 1.5747 at the end of the day..

Everyone's got varying expectations.....strong usd, weak usd. Well I expect to remain out of the market but with a bias for weak usd.
