  • Australian dollar falls against most majors

    From lse.co.uk

The Australian dollar weakened against most major currencies in the early European session on Thursday. The Australian dollar fell to 9-month lows of 1.5075 against the euro and 1.0584 against the NZ dollar, from early highs of 1.4908 and 1.0696, respectively. Against the US dollar, the aussie fell to a 2-day low of 0.8247 from an early high of 0.8374. The aussie edged down to 0.9469 against the Canadian dollar from an early high of 0.9597. If the aussie extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 1.51 against the euro, 1.055 against the kiwi, 0.81 against the greenback and 0.945 against the loonie.

I'm sorry, but it's worth saying one more time. SELL THE RALLIES IN AUSSIE!!!! I hope no one for caught long last night on Aussie jobs data. The market makers are trying to set traders up and make you think long...but don't do it.

The draw down was an opportunity or a door for a hedge fund to buy as much as it can.

All hail PA.

tbh went long at the bottom (out now) as well the ye ol' rally sell prior.

Not sure why it tanked. Bit random.

I am thinking what happened was due to profit taking by a financial institution either bank or hedge fund. Please also not that when this happened at the same time USDJPY was also going up at the same acceleration. However, EURUSD did not move that much. I am suspecting both moves were connected.

Normally, profit talking is occurring due to many reasons such as just it is the END of the year or simply need cash money.

Nice work. If one were to buy, only after a big quick drop would it be appropriate imho...and only for a quick trade/profit. Happy holidays!!!

In all honesty , Aussie is playing out just as I said. Starting to consolidate as the holidays approach. So guess you could play the approximate .8200-.8400 range game from the market makers. Cheers!
