Words of wisdom.

20-30 minutes should be enough for price to settle, and then re-assess price action. DON'T try to rationalize why price did or did not match your interpretation of the economic event or release.

At the end of the day, price will go to where there's least resistance and not always match sentiment based on PAST DATA.

If that is the case, no data from any country can be trusted!

Without crystal ball, no retailer dare to trade. as fx is mere gambling game manipulated by market makers. Shit!

I've felt for a long time now that the data is manipulated to move the market in the direction the big boys need it to go to exit their positions and enter new ones.

The best thing to do is if your going to trade news is first find a broker that doesn't slip you much during news and open spreads 50 pips or more, second get a news service that gives you early releases, third trade smaller lots if you have to trade during news, forth keep your fingers crossed. :-)

You are correct, trading the news is a big gamble and one can only hope to guess right by taking a position before the news comes out, I don't trade it either anymore because its to unpredictable how the market will react and like I said I've felt for a long time now the data is fake to move the market plus The Banksters are using these events to there own needs and heavily manipulating the market in collusion with each other causing confusion among retail traders of why the market reacted the way it did.

I have read that there are some paid services that are expensive that release some news not all two minutes early and are generally faster then most like FF, when I was looking into this stuff a while back I concluded it was to expensive for me so I pretty much gave up on the idea of using such a service and I don't remember who any of them are because I don't care and I don't trade news anymore.

Sometimes I might put in a smaller then usual bid on a news release if I've had a good week and hope price just launches in my favor to grab some easy pips but other then that I generally avoid trading news because I lose more often then I win even when I've managed to guess the direction right.

They are doing this just to make all of the AUD and NZD pairs retrace before trend continuation.

But it is crazy how they throw out these false numbers just to move the currencies where they want them to be. I guess that's a part of the game!

Checkout the Australian - latest news, all you read is cut backs in CAPEX expenditure and if you read the figures, there are a lot of part time jobs. Australia now needs a short structural shift and that will mean lower interest rates in 2015. but as always until the cut actually takes place, anything can happen with the AUD.

In the case of Australia, there is some manipulation, which is why we see they jobs data all over the place as they try to use new formulas to calculate the data. It is also part that they just don't know what they are doing.

The figures they release are all over the place and they are the only developed country that releases the data over a telephone to a human to telephone out to others on another phone on his other ear !. So some people get the data before others and public sources are often delays on the data by 30 - 60 seconds. It is a joke. It's 50 year old technology.

All the tools are there people, setup your support and resistance lines, draw your triangles, even pull out the fib when you need to. All the info is there right before your eyes read your charts. Set up a good risk management and do your trade. good luck!
