Instead of whining, try to think like a market maker, then you won't trade against them.

What opposite trade? Wall street just wants to short from higher...why would they open a session and short the bottom? Just try to think as the big boys...they want to make as many pips during a session as possible, they won't short for 15 pips.

Options is a different ball game. On paper pretty straightforward and easily lucrative but you must have a very decent model of the market such that you can a) define market limits per time interval b) read momentum in direction accurately and almost to the second and c) have a good clock sense of price movement (price action). It is a bit like scalping really (your largest time frame would be say M15) and as such you can do well except you do not have limitless time for the trades so your call must be right within the period the option is active. But it is something you do not just jump into and my advice is to first demo trade it and get a feel for what options suit you best in terms of your market reading ability and model and then decide. Of course no stop loss etc to worry about but it teaches you a major lesson as well about trading even the Forex which is that you must make sound decisions on the understanding that once you commit you have no control and that will help your trading the Forex. There is no reason you cannot trade both the Forex and options at the same time they are not mutually exclusive at all as you will find out. It is a lot of fun once you got the hang.

The Crow (-_-)
