  • Fresh lows in AUD/USD as pair closes in on stops

    The US dollar is at the top of the mountain once again. Other currencies trying to climb back up after falling over the past week can’t even get a toe-hold. AUD/USD has spilled down to 0.9246 from 0.9287 since New York traders rolled in. A strong layer of bids to 0.9250 gave way and there’s a rise of stops below 0.9230. That will be buffered by a layer of bids in the 0.9220 to 0.9200 including corporate buyers and a barrier.

what a crappy news. USD is almost dead by now. Look at all currencies they are all holding except AUD and NZD. Time to prepare for heavy buying mates.

what is causing aud/usd to drop? I have not seen anything to explain this sudden drop.

me too. in long @.9195 but not sure if there is serious institutional demand here. we may actually go lower still, so tight stop in place.

200 Day SMA is at .91815 ... . May be a pause or bounce there, but wouldn't count on it ... .
