Information received since the Federal Open Market Committee met in April indicates that growth in economic activity has rebounded in recent months. Labor market indicators generally showed further improvement. The unemployment rate, though lower, remains elevated. Household spending appears to be rising moderately and business fixed investment resumed its advance, while the recovery in the housing sector remained slow. Fiscal policy is restraining economic growth, although the extent of restraint is diminishing. Inflation has been running below the Committee's longer-run objective, but longer-term inflation ... Everything has been priced in - the markets are extremely efficient in fact it is a ruse to suggest surprise at any point in time - indeed it is offensive to even think in such terms. The market is too large and liquid not to know everything well beforehand and adjust all incoming orders instantaneously to reflect the common opinion (per money votes of course not mood state type sentiment). This is clear from Gold since I am able to forecast levels exactly - before FOMC and that is the way to go - learn to estimate market valuations.

FED minutes looks Dollar bid, should see some dip in EURUSD GBPUSD, watch for NZD GDP later, Sell on rallies expected NZDUSD.
FED TAPERS BOND BUYING TO $35 BLN MONTHLY PACE FROM $45 BLN.
Dollar Bid to be seen across the board.
Market now focus on what Yellen speaks...

This is why one really really really needs to know what they are doing when trading the news!

Them hitting stops to both sides of the price and then returning to prenews levels has become the norm, no one wants to commit to direction in this market.

The Committee currently judges that there is sufficient underlying strength in the broader economy to support ongoing improvement in labor market conditions. In light of the cumulative progress toward maximum employment and the improvement in the outlook for labor market conditions since the inception of the current asset purchase program, the Committee decided to make a further measured reduction in the pace of its asset purchases. Beginning in July, the Committee will add to its holdings of agency mortgage-backed securities at a pace of $15 billion per month rather than $20 billion per month, and will add to its holdings of longer-term Treasury securities at a pace of $20 billion per month rather than $25 billion per month

I don't think it's dovishness should affect the dollar. Dollar is already underpriced-in. I'm buying it before any surprises!

Please make it more cheaper guys, sell sell sell!

Looks like the Fed is basically keeping an eye out on how well the economy does in the next few years. And will adjust accordingly. Seems like unsteady equilibrium. Since most jobs are in the service sector and those jobs don't pay well, most of them, consumers spending might not be so great.
