He posted that on April 28th when price was around .9250...it's gone up over 100pips since. I hope he doesn't let his 140pip profit doesn't turn into a losing trade.

You're a funny man...

1) Lets recap your "winner"...on April 28th at 12:37pm you said you were +140pips(yet we can say below +150 or else you would have posted that)...and price was between .9244-48). Now you say you took 180+ profit. So a 40pip difference or more. The only "chance" you could have done that was on May 2nd(US NFP) when price hit a low of .9201)....either you're an absolute genious how can call the Pefect bottom(not likely) or you're a great after the fact curve fitter try to impress everyone(most likely).

2) Now you say you're looking for a D1 retracement up to .9406. Just want to thank you for confirming my statements on "buying the dips" is as being right since price is heading higher.

3) I've posted plenty of my trades in the past. Feel free to go through my posts on my profile and confirm. But in general,I don't post trades or brag...I post my bias and like to see each other trader make their own decisions on what's best for them for.

4) If you really had a "high paying day job" you wouldn't be wasting your time posting here on FF trying to "impress" others...whether its your intention or not, you come across very conceited.

Agreed. The point still is that the unemployment rate did not improve. It just did not get as bad as they had expected in their rate statement. Even the jobs added were less than the previous period. It makes it easier to beat the numbers if the bar is set low enough. On the other hand, the unemployment rate for the US did actually go down. Therefore (as per the market) it is a buy. I guess the market is always right?!

I've had this conversion with other traders before, one thing for sure is the only thing that matters today is that little green number to the left. I'm a short term trader so what economics says should happen next is irrelevant to what price is doing at the moment.

Agreed. The point still is that the unemployment rate did not improve. It just did not get as bad as they had expected in their rate statement. Even the jobs added were less than the previous period. News trading is impossible for the retail trader.
The market (and computers) have become SO quick/efficient that prices have already gapped by the time the news becomes well known and trickle down to the masses.
I remember even just 5 years ago, it would be uncommon for prices in an FX major like AUDUSD to actually gap during weekday working hours. But now, it's the norm on new events and the like.

Arh the dramatic irony. Every bit of half average news indicating the Aussie Economy is choking is driving the Aussie up....imagine what an indication of a rate rise would do. Aussie would trip US parity....but no silly... RBA rate rise not on the cards because the market is actually choking so would stall further....and will continue to stall while currency damages export income...admission current aud positions either way nil.
