    Employers boosted payrolls in April by the most in two years and the jobless rate plunged to 6.3 percent as companies grew confident the U.S. economy is emerging from a first-quarter slowdown. The 288,000 gain in employment was the biggest since January 2012 and followed a revised 203,000 increase the prior month that was stronger than initially estimated, Labor Department figures showed today in Washington. The median forecast in a Bloomberg survey of economists called for a 218,000 advance. Amazing, 6.3% unemployment rate and eur/usd dropped about 30 pips .... if the numbers turned out bad like 6.9% the eur/usd would be at 1.42... within minutes... It's probably Draghi that's pumping up the euro...

Not that the economy is strong or anything lol. The BLS report even states that the decline to 9.3M unemployed was little changed over the last four months.

The labor force declined by over 800K in April, sharp increase from the 500K boost seen in March.

Out of the 75K added in professional jobs 1/3 were temporary. 33K in low paying food service jobs. Wages still flat.

I think you may have misread -- it states the decline was little changed over the PRIOR four months. And then it changed in April. That's quite a different thing.

In fact, it also says the number of unemployed dropped by 1.9 million over the year.

Hard to see how you find the report has "shitty internals", when it is almost uniformly positive.

Wages flat, work week flat. Food service and retail jobs (primarily minimum wage, sub-national average) still a vast majority of jobs gained. Almost a third of the 74K professional service jobs added were temporary.

Let's face it, five years and $3.5 trillion later this is feckin garbage.

Plenty of baby boomers are retiring, or have already retired, and this is a major factor in the declining workforce participation rate.

Face it, this was a good jobs report. Next month may be different, but this report is unquestionably good news for the U.S. economy.

Until The USA gets back to manufacturing again those are the only type of jobs that are going to be available. The USA won't do anything in the way of Tariffs on imports to protect its markets, and because of this The USA will never be able to compete in its own market with places like China, Taiwan, Mexico, India, South Korea, Japan ........extra. Ross Perot saw this happening years ago when he tried to run for president and was going to stop NAFTA. Before NAFTA The USA had a trade surplus with Mexico and Mexico was buying 70% of all its imports from the USA now The USA has a trade deficit with Mexico !!! He also said the trade deals the USA did with Japan cost 2 million American jobs at the time.

Bottom line is America's manufacturing was gutted years ago and what replaced it for a little while was the housing boom and now that the boom has gone bust we have our current situation with no real end in sight until The USA can bring back manufacturing.

If you think abt it. Who are those Amercicans want to work in Mexico and other developing countries? Those American Expats are over 40 yrs old close to retirement and they know they cannot compete with young Americans armed with new technology. And companies pay a lot of perks so those Expats are willing to go. And they know it will be less than 5 years, then they can retire happy.

Now, if USA open 1 million jobs for foreign countries. I am sure there are more than 1 billion applicants.

Jobs outside USA are 24 hrs round clock, 7 days a week. There is no TGIF. There is no Friday Football cafe. So, think about it.

How much destruction can the ECB do to it's currency compared to the Fed?
The warts are in the US because of its lack of real structural change while it crucifies its own currency with more printing and more debt.
IMO, Europe is heading for stagnation due to taking a more painful but ultimately, more responsible approach rather than simply throwing out printed cotton candy to children who refuse to consume it wisely, then simply fall into a coma when the sugar runs out.

I agree, China is the future, but China is now diversifying OUT of US holdings and going INTO Euro holdings, so I guess they don't agree with the rest of your equation.

if Fx market would user friendly than it would have been the most common and popular proffession. Besides user friendly is a very very relative term.
I normally trade weekly timeframe( or sometimes scalp). So I will build my short from here and add gradually more.My 1st target will be 1.36 than 1.33. If it breaks 1.4 than I will close my short and will be looking for suitable price for short. Cause I still believe Euro is in critical stage.
By the way I strictly follow MM which is the ‚ I believe ‚ main prerequisite to succeed in Fx market

It's usual for newbies to blame the market. It's indifferent whether the market is user or non user friendly. It's like two soccer or football (I mean NFL) teams play on a neutral field. The loser blame the field, the winner applaud it. It's the same field they play, the difference is the loser can't can't adjust to it, the winner can take advantage of it.

It's the same market whether it's user or non user friendly. So look for something else to blame.
