'Do nothing Dow' moves 0 points
Here’s something that doesn’t happen often on Wall Street. Actually it’s nothing. 0. Zip. The Dow Jones industrial average closed completely unchanged Thursday, ending the day exactly the same place as Wednesday: 16,501.65. The much-watched market measure hasn’t had a 0-point day for more than a decade, going back to Christmas Eve of 2011 to be exact, says Fane Lozman, chairman of market research firm ScanShift.com.
