Well, .9100 is still a struggle to reach. But I still don't see any reason to sell a/u yet. Daily candles remain above the 50ma. 4hr chart still hasn't given a lower low and price keeps being rejected at the 200ma. And we just had a nice Pinbar form. 1hr chart looks like a range now between .8900-.9065 areas and price is right back up above .9000 after that little 15mins of selling to start the Asian session. Bad news doesn't matter, price just sells off for a little bit and then rallies right back up like it never happened. Even earlier today when the USD had it's moments of strength against EU, GU, UChf, UCad, and UJ...the AU didn't sell off but about 10pips. Until price closes below those moving averages mentioned above and the .8900 level, I'll have to keep buying the dips and looking for that breakout above .9100. Happy Trading!

Thank you for the kind words. You are right, I don't really pay much attention to FA...I should probably develop a deeper understanding of FA before sending in any cv to the brokers. There have been times in the past where I read some of the articles posted on FF and think..."boy, if that's all it takes to write/work for a broker/bank and make money...I can do that". haha I'm sure many on here have thought that, especially with those articles that say "price will either go up or price will go down"! hahaha Cheers!

Why is that, are your charts showing a/u below .8900? Mine aren't. In fact, I'm going to enter long now...looks like the selling is over for today or close to it. Should be minimum risk on this trade. And so what if I'm wrong? I'm not perfect, I have losing trades. As long as I stay disciplined and use proper trade&money management I end up profitable.

I'm in at .8954...about 12pips off today's lows. Price is finding support right now at the 4hr 200ma and Daily 50ma. We also have .8900 just below that and we've had an 82pip selloff today with some oversold conditions. So that's good enough for me. It may or may not work out...nothing is 100%. But that's why I'm patient for the right entry and limit my risk. I'm looking for a/u to go up to .8980 area first and then possibly .9000 again. Depending how it reacts around there I will hold or close. Cheers!

And there you go...stopped out for a 20pip loss. Now to see if price can close below the higher timeframe ma's and get below .8900. That would create a new low so I could possibly start looking for a Lower High if we are going to start a downtrend.

Well, over the past few weeks when bad aussie or China data comes out we get temporary selling followed by buying to heights above pre-news levels. Wonder if it will happen again tonight.
