Ignore market predictions, react instead
I have been in the financial industry for over 20 years now, first as an intern, then an assistant and finally as an advisor. Here's what I know more than anything about those affiliated with Wall Street and the financial world — they make a lot of predictions. What I also know is that most of those predictions are wrong. Usually the predictions are about the broad economy and markets. These forecasts are almost worthless as the economy and markets are just too big to correctly analyze year in and year out.
