  • I'm Changing My Mind About Bitcoin

    From businessinsider.com

I'm changing my mind about Bitcoin. I used to think it was a joke or at best a currency for clowns. Now, I no longer think that. Now, I don't know what its future is. Here, let me explain. I've gone through two phrases writing about the "crypto-currency" called Bitcoin. I first started paying close attention to it early this year. In April, during its first big mega-spike, I wrote Bitcoin Has No Intrinsic Value, And Will Never Be A Threat To Fiat Currency. Then the price of Bitcoin crashed, and I kind of lost interest. Then a few weeks ago, as the price of Bitcoin started exploding again, I wrote a post that ... (full story)

According to the Financial Times in the UK, the Royal Mint are about to start minting a physical gold Bitcoin.
Kind or defeats the purpose you would think?
It seems there is much more to the rapid increase in the value of Bitcoins than we all currently know or that has be made public.
The threat that the bitcoin posses to the current manipulated money system would be enough for the powerful global banking cartel to try and infiltrate it in order to control it.
It wouldn't surprise me to see the Rothschild controlled Royal Mint try and flood the market with a physical coin in an attempt to somehow control the digital market.
We'll see I guess.

The simple fact is that the supposed price of Bitcoin is rising as fast as Fiat currencies are being printed.

However... you can't carry it in your pocket, its only available to a small fraction of the worlds population, and its price is 100% controlled by a few people who bought large amounts at 10 cents to $1 a piece long ago.

If those who control the 90% decide to liquidate, the idiots paying $1,000, $2,000 etc lose... the story is always the same... the latecomers to the party carry the bag, it never changes, all Ponzi operations end the same sad way.

It's offering up a fascinating paradox for central banks, I guess the fact that 'real' money has to be ploughed in to buy bitcoins is somewhat cushioning their views...fascinating challenge, particularly when other virtual currencies join the party...
