Who cares? If you run a complex country like USA, you would understand that enemy of America are broad and dangerous; in order to protect the citizen of this country, USA needs intelligence information; if you have nothing to hide then why worry somebody is listening to your emails and phone calls?
I won't care a little bit if NSA is snooping through my emails and phone calls to the girls I knew when I was in high school, they may end up wetting their pants...

I just know USD is going down because EUR is surging ahead...that where the money is .....NSA should listen more and more to protect the good citizens of US of A.

Looking at some of the Americans here, mob mentality just checks in. defending something wrong just because its your country that is doing it so you defend its actions of infringing on other peoples democratic rights to freedom and privacy by saying it is in the best interest of America's homeland security. when your government decides to go to another Iraq annd Afghanistan to loot and massacare thousands of people will you still say that it is in the interests of American security or will you admit that it is in the best interests of American corporations which is what this is all about?

Trading freedom of speech and right to privacy in exchange of "percieved"security is something that each democratic country should debate internally so that if MY government gets the free pass to snoop on us in MY country then its something the majority of my fellow citizens attested to. But to have A FOREIGN COUNTRY snooping on my calls in MY country without a free pass handed to them the majority of by my fellow citizens, then that is infringing on the same democratic rights and freedoms of people that it purports to spearhead across the world. If your assessment is correct it is called political jingoism and as a matter of fact it does tend to affect a lot of USA trader disposition to market action (IMHO). Nevertheless look it up. Nice One!

As long as governments spy on us little people, it's all good between the big guys. It isn't so darn funny when it's Your privacy and trust that has been violated. Why they were able to get this filthy program off the ground and running is beyond me. I'll take my chances with an Islamic losing his cool and blowing up a building that I happen to be in any time over being "protected" by these creepy, lying, paranoid freaks in government listening, reading and checking every cent I spend.
