    SEPTEMBER KEY POINTS TREND ESTIMATES (MONTHLY CHANGE) Employment decreased to 11,646,800. Unemployment increased to 706,400 from a revised August 2013 estimate. Unemployment rate at 5.7%. Participation rate steady at 65.0%. Aggregate monthly hours worked increased to 1,645.8 million hours from a revised August 2013 estimate. SEASONALLY ADJUSTED ESTIMATES (MONTHLY CHANGE) Employment increased 9,100 (0.1%) to 11,645,800. Oh by all means. A positive number is a positive number for sure. I was just referring to what the market expects.

IMO Australia needs to do what China has to do.... diversify their growth. China loves infrastructure, and they will beat a dead horse for 3 decades. Australia gained a lot from that, but now that the mining boom has faded they have had troubles.

No country should try and survive on the growth of another. They should look to build organic growth.

Lol. I know what you mean. Trading in general seems to be a crazy endeavor. UK and Swiss regulators finding banks rigging FX rates, JP morgan manipulating energy markets, Barclays falsifying LIBOR... the big guy will always have the upper hand.

However, at this point I cannot say us little guys cannot get a piece of the action. We have all lost, probably a lot lol, but look at JP Whale losing 9 billion OUCH.

Whether it's cards, sports betting, horses or currency, if we keep with it honing our techniques we can become profitable. There are poker players that make millions, and I'm sure there is a fx trader in a small concrete building in Singapore raking it in.

Eh, IDK. I took $500k in a spec energy futures account at ended up +295k in two weeks on crude, gas and nat gas but takes me longer with FX. I feel like I have to analyze it more. As soon as get my series 3/34 I am hoping to broker for a year and learn all the tricks lol

I am looking at the chart for AU.. Daily 200 EMA can be touch before another leg down..

There were mix news for the AUD, so that's why the market is struggling to pick up a direction, there was no breakout, last month was amazing because the news headed to the same direction and the AUD currencies move +400 pips in 15 minutes, but not this time.

Kok Teong, both news were expected to be high impact, but because one was negative and the other positive, it tends to cause this reaction in the market, until it doesn't give you a definitive breakout, don't pull the trigger.

And my horse...well.....it should be crossing the finish line any day now. LOL

35, I AGREE with you 100%. But the way the AUD, had been moving the least few months, that means we may have to wait until close to Christmas. I think the AUD is becoming the new CHF. hA! Im laughing but its sickening the amount of dead time this has turned into waitng and analyzing this aussie against every major pair, figuring there has to be a tip of of whats coming in the charts. And long or short, it all leads back to the same thing......chop! The lesson I learned is that this currency really is married to gold. And on top of it if NO commodity is taking off like a rocket, this is just dead. But if you think about it...who can tell me they made a nickel on the EUR/USD pair this year. I say nobody but the banks. The JPY short was the big move of the year.
