It seems the news is true
There may be SPIKES DOWN . But the OVERALL TREND is STILL POSITIVE for GBP -----atleast in the SHORT TERM . Some STRUGGLE around 1.6135-70. If ,over come , and it seems will be cleared ,then---1.6200 on wards . This seems to be touching 1.6300 +.

Trade wisely. Trade nicely.

How about USD no one is factoring here??
I don't trade fundamental. And even if I did, I would not have spotted that. It was not listed on the news sites. I always take a cursory look to see if there is something I should be aware of, in case I need to pull a trade. But this shocker came out of nowhere and hit my SL... now the rally is on again, I would have been 40 pips up by now...

Well it depends on the range you are evaluating over some projected period. Given a fractal structure that is the way it has to be - and whether going up or down price moves by going up and down. However, as a unit, cable (much like the Euro) is correctly assessed as upwardly mobile in the medium to long-term range and of that there can be no question. Nice One!
