Where can data junkies get fix during shutdown?
One of the minor annoyances of the government shutdown is the delay of the economic statistics that the Fed, Wall Street and others rely on for clues about how well the economy is doing. The shutdown means that one of the most important data points, the September employment report, won’t be released as scheduled on Friday, unless Congress comes to its senses or the Bureau of Labor Statistics figures out a legal way to get it out, as rumored.
