US Jobless claims may still be messed up
U.S. jobless claims have been hard to get a handle on over the past few weeks and the latest report probably won’t offer any more clarity. In early September the number of people applying for unemployment benefits fell below 300,000 for the first time since 2006, but the surprise drop mainly stemmed from computer glitches in California that delayed the processing of some claims. California is the nation’s most populous state. Well, California is still having big problems. Gov.
