    From forexlive.com

A new high of 1.3529 is made. It’s like Formula 1 and Nascar rolled into one. Ooh the excitement is too much.

what you guys worry so much.... if euro usd do not recover how can you short again at high level ??? It is still all ok. Still intraday trading at this level. No reason for panik.
the dows recover to plus because all news are done and its profit taking. just wait and see, we will end today arround 1,35 00 or even below.

it's playing by the big boys not us. Sometimes market can be weird as direction can go opposite your positions even when there's a good news. Sigh...

Yep. All you have to do is hope really hard that it will go up, and then to your surprise, it will go down
Friendly advice: Hope is not a strategy.

You can change the headline to US dollar gets trashed thru euro 1.3520. Add to that that the S&P is getting trashed right now. Can any correlation expert explain this phenomenon (currency and stocks getting trashed simultaneously)? If it was a small country that relied on foreign investment/carry trade/"hot money", then I would say that that country is being avoided like the plague by foreign investors. But this can't be happening to the US of A, surely.

Trying to understand what is discussed behind doors is going to be a hard task, so follow the technicals, its your best bet!

The EURUSD bull flag, may end up to be a failed pattern, and see the market sliding down towards 1.3390, but that should be just the initial move, then we should see another dip before a bigger rally is expected towards 1.3693

Happy Trading,
FxBigDog

Sure it can. The US senate Republican from Texas (Ten Cruz) is reciting Dr Zeuss poems instead of debating the Continuing Resolution regarding the debt ceiling and fiscal consolidation. If any other country did that, they would be in the dog house by now.

using mental arithmetic the measured target for eurusd bull flag is around 1.38, but obviously take profit before that at around 1.37. the target for S&P (december futures) should be something like 1660 (tp around 1670) say 1677 cash market, it bounced up off a h&s neckline on H1 which needs to get broken again or people gonna think the neckline is a double bottom. and the gap down to 1682.70 aint closed yet on futures.

I hate politicians. This is a classic example of 'playing politics' that does nothing to help solve real issues by putting in common sense policies. Our own Red 'Marxist' Ed came up with a good one by freezing energy prices for 2 years if elected. Muppet!
