Participation rate steady at 65.1% from a revised July 2013 estimates. Aggregate monthly hours worked increased to 1,647.3 million hours. SEASONALLY ADJUSTED ESTIMATES (MONTHLY CHANGE) Employment decreased 10,800 (0.1%) to 11,637,100. Full-time employment decreased 2,600 to 8,128,800 and part-time employment decreased 8,200 to 3,508,300. Unemployment increased 9,400 (1.3%) to 714,100. Alright guys, be patient out there. Don't sell the lows. Also remember that last week and this week so far the a/u was still bought after bad data. I would look for a lower high before trusting shorts. If you sold just prior to news, congrats on your profits!

Right now price is testing yesterday's support area of .9280. Personally, I'd like to see a close below there(lower low) and then a lower high form in order to trust shorts. But that's just me. Retest of .9310-20 with rejection would be nice.

Good call. I was expecting a pullback above .9300 before further drop but that didn't happen. My trading plan doesn't call for selling the lows, so I've just been patiently watching. Nice job to all of those who were short or did short!

The AUDUSD held up for the day with sellers at 0.9335, we holding short until 0.9232. This move we seeing right now is the 4th wave correction and strong support at 0.9232 could keep the market from dipping lower. Buyers are going to be on the bench until support at 0.9232 hits, then we will see a fight for the playing field.

TO ALL THE SHORTS: Are there any of you who really believe when the NY boys come in, and lately they have been in at 7am judging by the biggest volume bar of the day this month, do any of you think with all the money they have to put to work that they are going to be shorting this oversold PAIR(AT LEAST IT IS,ON THE HRLY) or are they going to take this mildly bearish insignificant bad news and ram it right back at the shorts? Whom if you look at the DAILY VOLUME BAR only...they havent even shown a pimple on the total volume you will see today. I say we close even for the day or tiny gain or loss either way, but this thing would shock me if it moved for more than another 60 min, and not much more either. 20 pips more should set up a very nice place for London to start adding to their long positio0ns and then NY following suit. It is what I wish for anyway. Im loaded up long. Go AUD!

Going to be interesting on a/u here...if it gets back above .9280, it should reach .9300-20 again. At least now we know the first major support area is .9230 area.

Somebody forget to put the minus sign on the forecast of employment change? The unemployment rate is just same as forecast and how could the actual employment change has so much different from the forecast. Seems more aligned if the employment change forecast is -10.2k. If that's the case, continue hiking?

i think this time AUDUSD will go below .88 since the liberal won the election. This will boost the buying of properties in the OZ land.....just remember HOWARD and AU at .50 and australian economy has 26B surplus.

Howdy Traders,

Just to follow up on our comments on the AUDUSD. We were spot on with the bounce off 0.9232 and saw the market moving towards our target at 0.9478 where we reversed the position @ 0.9478 targeting 0.9283. For the late comers, a GOODBYE KISS @ 09441 offered a second grab of sellers towards the same target as it completes the BAT Pattern. If we called it right, buyers will push the market off 0.9283 towards 0.9582. This might be a fast move, so hold onto your seats!!
