IMHO the inevitable collapse of the Chinese property bubble will be the Black Swan event horizon that brings down the globe's economy. It'll also provide (on a plate) a one off slam dunk opportunity for the USA administration and politicians to blame China for all the Globe's economic ills. I'd suggest 2015 as the window for collapse.

We'll see who will fall first ... USA or China ... I'd bet USA is the first one ... and all the others follow

China is an economic giant and has the worlds largest manufacturing industry. While USA is the worlds largest debtor.

If any one should collapse it will be the USA.

China is still Imperial China and will be for many decades to come...
Only perhaps 50,000 educated chinese are ruling over a dirt poor population of 1 billion.
My money is on the U.S.A. not China by a long long shot.

I won't be surprise if China's banking system collapses within 2014. This country has faked a lot of stuffs, baby milk, eggs, rice, condoms & so on, you name it. I am sure it can fake the banking system as well, or even its human brains.

I remember reading some of the research reports these guys put out a while back. They claim to make money by exposing corrupt or fraudulent China companies listing in the NYSE and shorting their stocks. Sounds good right?

But then I followed some of these Chinese companies listings last year, some of the stocks indeed did go down a couple % after these reports came out (I assume from the mooks that hopped on based on the reports) but then it promptly reversed and went up along with the rest of the DOW. FSIN for example went on to end the year 50% up and been bought up by another company. This is the same company Muddywaters claimed had been hiring empty trucks to circle around work sites, hiring workers standing around doing nothing in order to deceive investors. They even somehow had photos and company statements as "evidence" in their reports!?

Now they either forged the entire thing and are worse than the "corrupt" companies they claim to expose, or the report was accurate and the companies' management managed to turn everything around. You guys can take your pick, but either way following their reports was a great way to lose money.
