It seems central bankers’ mafia gangs are busy trying to melt XAU, shake up the market and reload at rock bottom prices! Last week it was bitcoin that got buried alive, next in line may be stocks from coast to coast! I got off from the stocks at the end of March....and I will enter in September!

I fail to see why this explains the PM crash. Just because the last sentence hints at some cause, think about it, where is the money going and why in the far-eastern exchanges. Do you really think $400m Cyprus gold-dump would do this much damage? I believe that it is computer assisted de-leveraging, same as happened with carry-trade unwinding 8 years back or thereabouts.

aren't you fundamental traders supposed to know these things? From a technical perspective, asking "why this" at this stage is nonsense - correction: asking why at any stage is nonsense. Trying to understand "why" when there exists an infinite number of variables. the charts display the "what the markets think" and that is good enough for me

What a stupid question for anyone to be asking at this point in time - irrelevancies seem to dominate the discourse of traders with no clue and their aftermarket sponsors - pure noise - absolutely without value. What price ever went up and did not come down in a market and what price ever went down and did not go up - MR to the initiated (prices move in phases at all levels up and down whether trending up or down - simply because that is what we do in the market - buy and sell). That is why we have pivots and why the market works - buy (up) sell (down) buy (up again) and sell (down) again. Can anyone kindly explain this to the clowns that run this rig in language they can understand and ask them never to ask this type of purposeless questions again.

Agree, seems people go nuts looking for specific fundi reasons for a market move as if profit taking, targeting and bargain hunting don't occur in the market.
Was it going to stay in its range forever? Breakout was imminent looking at weekly and monthly chart.

However this move was somewhat more entertaining than expected; particularly since the outbreak of Korean troubles, or more template actions in Europe, might be expected to drive gold up. So now just waiting for a tempting entry point....

China does not need to sell gold to pay for weapons, China has plenty of US bonds to use up. Better to use them now while they are still worth something.

Business Insider thinks the fall in Gold vindicates the economic elites management strategy to avoid hyperinflation and a much larger looming crisis.

How much were they paid to publish that crap.

Gold broke out of its artificial range, retested the broken TL and will continue falling until it finds historic support.
