    It is a great honor to be invited to this meeting hosted by the Yomiuri International Economic Society today. This is my first speech as Governor of the Bank of Japan. Today, I would like to explain the "Quantitative and Qualitative Monetary Easing" that we decided to embark on last week. I. Hey, even a millionaire can piss away money. I am not attacking you, but trying to flash your "size" on an online thread won't make you anymore credible.

Size may matter with your women but not on FF. I welcome your analysis - just not your account size.

Did you inherit it, start trading after you'd saved up a couple of million, leave a firm with a huge bonus or hock the homestead or start of with a combo of all? You never achieve what you term size in this game through the myth of compounding...

Seems the market does not agreed with your "predictions". Or maybe you are just speculating so everyone that believes in your "forecast" will loose some...
Let's wait until the market swallow this speech so we be able to see which direction the JPY will take.

"For instance, if the growth potential of the economy rises as a result of monetary accommodation as well as appropriate fiscal policy and the growth strategy, its currency could appreciate rather than depreciate." and "Indeed, Japan's economy has shown some bright signs of picking up. Going forward, we expect the economy to return to a moderate recovery path against the background of firm domestic demand and a pick-up in growth rates of overseas economies." so JPY will continue appreciation on its own.

"I believe that the international community shares a common understanding on these points." it shows that international financial community is concerned about Japan easing and they care therefor it won't be a one way bet.
Good luck all but you must be careful if you want to short JPY.

I'm guessing that big boys will close now theirs big shorts (longs for Y), a week or so (stand for correction), and then will come the ride... it's just a guess.

Within a week things wont change drastically. And all guys should remember that the present YEN status is bullish. Time to go long until you come across some reversals like Doji , evening star. Also stochastic is yet to cross below the 80 mark.

Kuroda is not a puppet and his intentions are clear...Correction? why so early? that too within a week.

I agree that 101.3-101.7 is the key level for Yen/usd. It should be rejected on the first attempt. I also think, based on long term charts that ultimate target for this move is 119-120 and we should be there within 6 to 18 months. Just my opinion.

Patience people, patience. All that has happened, is the uj has rejected the 100 barrier. Came within a whisker and said no thanks, not yet. It will need to find a support after a huge run up. Go back and re-read what Kuroda said originally, i.e. near doubling of QE. If he does what he said he would do, then yen should continue weakening.

I agree as the QE is to aggressive, I think the the rates are just balancing out for now, to reach over 100's barrier. Lets see the trend going ahead. Happy trading and try not to be to greedy.
