  • EUR/USD Challenges Falling Trendline, Threatening Reversal

    From fxtimes.com

Trendline: The EUR/USD has stormed back from the 3/14 session low of 1.2910 and is testing a falling trendline in the early 3/15 US session. This falling trendline goes back to the beginning of the latest down trend from February’s 1.3710 high. A break above a resistance pivot of 1.3075 would clear above the trendline and neutralize the bearish outlook since Feb. Momentum: In the 4H chart, the RSI has held under 60 since bearish momentum was established. If it gets pulled above 60, it reflects loss of a persistent bearish momentum since Feb. 1.3160: The next key resistance pivot above 1.3075 will be 1.3160. A break ... (full story)

It's not threatening. Eur/Usd means business as of 10 AM yesterday. Get ready to go long!
Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor!

It's not a threat, it will happen. The euro just rallied 160 pips without any good news. Imagine how high it will go with good news!

The Euro is unpredictable. It goes down and all of a sudden it goes up. I can see why people say avoid trading it.

He says it's threatening to go up by breaking the downtrend line; which means it should go down and not up so as to confuse you which you already are.

It looks to me that your trendline is a bit off - I can't see where you are lining up the touches?
I've got my pips - go get yours!

I've never seen anyone use trend lines effectively to predict moves, they are the finest hindsight indicators bar none and that's when they are, as you say, lined up correctly.

Amen to that. Trendlines are for clueless "traders" who don't know any better. They give you an illusion that they "work", when in fact they don't. I bet someone's gonna say "you just don't know how to draw them properly". Laughable!

JP Morgan was aggressively added longs last week targeting 1.38 and COT cut 180% of their shorts. It is a good reason to go long now. Bullish divergent on daily chart as well.

For all the people who go by what someone say, or going by a tread line are not traders. They are hope wishers. If you read your charts and not indicators you would know how to trade instead hoping and wishing upon an indicator.

Lol

JP Morgan didn't closed their euro long positions, someone else closed them up for them (top out), total of 500 pips=multi billion dollars losses in that week. JP Morgan's CIO happened to be a big girl, it could be different if those were big boy's trades. hehehhe.

I just relying on my eyes when excuting a trade, NOT anyone else.
Happy trading!
