Define "excessive". First they promote speculation, then regret doing it... total nonsense.

Did you really believed for once that a currency could weaken 5% in exactly 7 weeks and stay there longer than 2 weeks?!

And suddenly all overbought Europe currencies will stay there 6 months?!

The "Abe..." was such a good drive for the balloon...

Easy way to make YEN strong again is just tell that ABE guy to shut up and the YEN will be strong again.

Abe was just convenient "vehicle" to boost-up the speculation trend higher - remember my word - in 3 weeks you will see no news with "Abe..." in any financial site - not a single one ;-).

14 gaps (1 min chart) in eur/yen between 103.80 and last recent high. Heavy divergence in price action and end of year covering of longs. The writing was on the wall for a eur sell off

Yen is MEANT to be stronger, for the sake of their own economy. And I think Abe realizes this.
USD is going to fade and fade and fade...

don't buy.
it's baloon.
starting from Abe came as PM, the whole forex market is moved and staying on the edge, and it will fall in cliff.

check any JPY pair, they are extreamly overbought and that cannot be sustained for long time.

all other pairs are just moving up unreasonably.
