Business conditions in the UK construction sector deteriorated during November, with output falling for the third time in the past four months amid the steepest new orders decline for just over three-and-ahalf years. A lack of new business to replace completed contracts in turn contributed to a marked drop in confidence regarding the outlook for the next 12 months. Latest data pointed to the weakest degree of positive sentiment since the near-record low seen in December 2008. Yes it is not good, anything below 50....
The Market has changed I used to be a a swing trader 4h Daily charts, I'm becoming again a short time frame trader, as this market is getting to be more and more manipulated, and the swings are getting harder to figure out, but it is what it is...

I agree it is not easy to Manipulate the Forex Market but I belief the CB's can do that, to move the forex Market it takes huge amounts of Money just to move it a few pips...but I dont know maybe I'm just a bit jaded, i see things that don't make sense, that is why I think there is some Manipulation going on, Ibelief the commodity market is getting manipulated, but do i know it for sure, NO....
I used to say the same thing you say, do what the charts tell you to do, Price is never wrong, price is what it supposed to be right now and that is all that matters ...
Swing Trading, yes that is the way it has been for me for some time..... I do short time now again 7 - 10 Pips and then get out, I dont like it as it takes too much time and it reminds me of the old times, it is Stressful trading to say the least.....

Anyway we can discuss that until we are blue in the face nothing really will change, I rather sit down and Have a Glass or two of Red wine in front of me and have a person to discuss the Forex Market with me, then it can become a lively conversation.......and one think I do Strongly belief in and that is there are really no right or wrongs, it is just a matter of opinions, and everyone is entitiled to theirs, Yes even the biggest fools....

Fx can never be manipulated and you should stick with swing trading, the majority of retail traders fail trading low time frames.

It's not "easy" it's impossible. It doesn't happen.

There is no point in retail traders trading off anything lower than the daily. They should all swing trade. The problem is they see the circa 150 pip stop necessary and drop bricks because they come to the market with a couple of grand seduced into thinking they can turn it into 100K. They lose one swing and drop hundred+ pips and fail to see that it's simply normal 'tolerance' and variance.

Want to make 100K in 2013? Have an account of 200K, 50% (1% growth per week). Only have ten grand? Don't give up the day job, you'll do very well if you make 5. That's the reality.

I used to think there was many ways to crack the FX market from the retail perspective now I'm convinced that there's very few ways for the retail punter to take money out of the markets consistently.

Affects nothing - just for folks to ramble about. You still have to trade the market and the market is not an economics laboratory it is a place where people buy and sell commodities. Sure economic conditions affect transactions - and people react to them - but only when it is seen (and or anticipated) in the flow does it matter.

It was rated as a medium news impact event for a reason. However, it doesn't alter the fact that it's a very poor number. Whenever you see dates such as 2008 or 2009 mentioned as comparisons wrt the UK or USA you should sit up and take notice.
