Weekly preview - Euro Compromised
Given the Euro-zone fundamental backdrop any EUR/USD move above 1.30 should be seen as an attractive selling opportunity. Although Friday’s short squeeze again illustrates the critical importance of timing, any Euro gains following a likely Eurogroup compromise agreement on Greece should fade quickly as all the positive news has been priced in. If German intransigence triggers another failure on Monday, the Euro would fall sharply before attempting to rally again.
