June sees steep and accelerated decrease in Italian manufacturing output
June saw Italian manufacturing production levels and employment decrease at faster rates, as incoming new business in the sector again fell sharply. A further reduction in the demand for materials, however, led to a decrease in average input prices, with charges also falling on the month. Overall operating conditions within the Italian manufacturing sector continued to deteriorate markedly during June.
