Stocks, Commodities Rise Before US Jobs Data
European stocks and commodities rose while Treasuries declined before a report that may show American companies increased hiring. Spanish bonds fell for a fourth day. The Stoxx Europe 600 Index added 0.3 percent at 9:50 a.m. in London. Standard & Poor’s 500 Index futures climbed 0.4 percent, indicating the gauge will rebound from its biggest drop this year. The S&P GSCI index of 24 commodities climbed 0.2 percent. The 10-year Treasury yield added two basis points to 1.96 percent.
