The epic outlay included £125,000 on a bottle of the world's priciest bubbly — a 30-litre double Nebuchadnezzar of Armand de Brignac Midas. Weighing a whopping 45kg, it had to be carried to the trader's table at Liverpool club PlayGround by two members of staff. He also shelled out over £60,000 on other drinks for himself and ten pals. His mammoth order included 40 regular-size bottles of the expensive bubbles as well as two 4.5 litre bottles of Grey Goose vodka at £2000-a-pop.
