  • BIS buys EUR/USD

    From forexlive.com

In recent trade. We’re at 1.3423 from session low 1.3418 (Reuters) 1.3420 (EBS) . Bout time they got it round their necks, ain’t it? ;) Certainly not much of a bounce so far.

I agree too. I'm long bias (1.4) or round about but looking for concurrence of a medium range turn around to offer a better buying level. I'm looking for a catalyst.
Any ideas?

lol..it can sure seem that way. Check this out, my final confirmation before getting into usd/cad earlier was by looking on here http://fxtrade.oanda.com/analysis/historical-positions
if you look on usd/cad from the 20th-24th youll notice a steep decline from buyers to sellers but price did the opposite, a sort of divergence i guess..My thoughts on this are retail traders are taking profit(hence the oanda info) and big money is buying in to the already nice short term trade.

Germany's parliament will almost certainly endorse a Greek bailout on Monday despite growing pressure on Chancellor Angela Merkel to meet domestic calls to stop throwing money down "this crazy path."

Going by Zebulun's trading system of 50EMA & 5SMA, I think the market (EUR/USD) is going down. So am taking a short position.

In a higher time frame, the EURO is in a retracement, not a reversal. But, with the 200 SMA so close, it could do anything. I believe it will hit 1.3350, maybe a tad lower, then go back up slightly, but I would not imagine a lot. Or, if it wants to hit the 200 sma and then go flat like its been the past couple of weeks, then 1.3250 may be a somewhat of a bouncing point. Then again, this is all in my humble opinion, and I'm still a beginner.
