    Greece's plans to avert bankruptcy were in chaos on Friday night as politicians, police and protesters formed a powerful and violent opposition to the internationally-imposed austerity measures. Lucas Papademos, prime minister, struggled to maintain order in parliament ahead of Sunday's crucial vote on the budget plans which he needs to win to secure Greece's €130bn (£109bn) bail-out. Five ministers resigned in protest over the budget plans, which include tough spending and pension cuts, that were approved on Thursday by political leaders. It will be more like uncontrolled chaos if they will adopt the EU IMF blackmail. In any case Greece is giving us a nice hint of how the EU breakup this year will unfold. The EU is already in dire straits with the smallest European Economy. One more country in that situation and thats it... and of course it will happen. I cant wait :-).

There is no strong fundamental reason for the EURO to be bullish. There could be temporary happy news that may make it go up some but there is no long term reason to do so. On the other hand Greece is not the only country in trouble soooo .................... if news stays quiet i expect the Euro to range, if not time to sell again. I am going to play the EURO to range unless Greece blows up.

if Greece can't manage its debts now, they won't be able to either when the debt is larger with more loans, one can see how the Greek prime minister try to reshuffle its cabinets and replace with bankers appointed ministers to replace the government with bankers puppets, the intention is quite obvious, once the austerity is adopted next demand will be sale of state assets then sale of Greek islands, in short, to get conquered without firing a single bullet
my view is that it may spike a little bit once the idiots agree on package at the vote today on whenever the drama will be. but it will be bear from there. Why? look at what happen after greece got their 1st bailout - a reality check.

The main problem of Greece was the elections thing.. Not really because of the economy alone.
You guys are exaggerating stuff, the euro will not stop to exist in, maybe just Greece will be thrown out of it for couple years to get their thing straight.

Europeans are not the cause for the euro existence anymore. All the richest banks, companies, people with power want the euro. It is not gonna go anywhere, it will stay but closer to the usd value.
