Yay! I've been wanting a Google powered search on FF, you read my mind. Thank you.

Hello Scot! Thank you for continuing to strive and make ForexFactory a better place.

I'm not happy how the Search Update turned out, because there is a feature that I sorely miss.

In the old Search function you can easily search within a thread. While this new search seems to be more powerful, I find updating current charts somewhat incomplete if I do not quote the previous set of charts that I posted on that currency.

Is there a way to add the Search within thread function back into the website, or into the new search engine? I know a few frequent posters that used this often.

we used to be able to search just for terms in only the thread we are viewing, what happened to that feature?

we also used to be able to narrow search for terms just in the "title" of thread, where has that gone?

Thanks for the feedback guys! The 'Search Thread' feature was never gone, just buried in the side bar. Based on your feedback, as well as others, we have repositioned the search at the top of the thread, where it's more noticeable.

It's great to see the function more visible! But when I use it, I'll type say "gold" in the search bar and i get this message with zero results

"No results found for 'gold' in Forum Posts search. Please try some different words, or go to Google Powered search"

No matter what the keyword is, I get no search results...even though they're valid keywords.
