Wall Street Protests Spread to Asia-Pacific Region
Protests against widening income disparity took place across the Asia-Pacific region today as demonstrators organizing via social media from Tokyo to Sydney joined London in the Occupy Wall Street movement. Rallies that began Sept. 17 in New York migrated across the U.S. to cities including Denver, Boston and San Francisco. Some 4,000 people have said they may attend a demonstration at noon today outside the London Stock Exchange, said organizer Kai Wargalla.
