Markit Flash France PMI
French private sector output growth eased to only a marginal pace in September. The Markit Flash France Composite Output Index, based on around 85% of normal monthly survey replies, dropped to 50.7 from 53.7 in August, its lowest level since July 2009. The fall in the headline index reflected a combination of weaker service sector business activity growth and a sharper contraction of manufacturing production during September. The latest increase in services activity was the slowest in the current 25-month period of expansion, while manufacturers signalled a second consecutive drop in output and the fastest decline ...
