Can 'Super' Mario Draghi save the euro?
Mario Draghi, governor of the Bank of Italy, will have to draw on all his skills and experience now he is at the helm of the world's second most powerful central bank, to lead monetary policy-making across a region mired in a major debt crisis. The Italian banker will replace France's Jean-Claude Trichet, the current ECB president. "He's a very interesting and experienced person," said German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
