Ron Paul worries Fort Knox gold is gone

I am with Ron Paul on this one.

The gold is the property of the United States, and thus the people of the United States, not the property of our privately owned central bank "Federal Reserve".

If the gold is gone...well I don't think so....but I am aware of some theories suggesting that.

Just to have any suspicions out of the scene, there should be absolutely no secrecy about the golds existence or not. I understand fully that there has to be security measures, but it will defeat the purpose of having a gold reserve, if it is not shown, but helt in secret.

Besides, as it is the property of the US, ( yours and mine gold) , the Federal Reserve can have no right denying any acess, examination or inventory of the gold reserve.

Doing the inventory should not be done by the Federal Reserve in the first place, ...it's not theirs, it should be done by the government.

Show us the gold, ...that is a very reasonable request, especially as it is our gold, there should be no problem with that what so ever.

Was there an article somewhere about Putin and the KGB perhaps that suggest the reason Dominique Strauss K found himself in this mess was because he insisted to see the gold first hand at fort Knox that was promised to be delivered/secured to IMF loans? And that the CIA looked after the rest including the planting of the sex maid? Seemed ludicrous upon reading it first time, but is there really some smoke here?

The biggest problem with that whole conspiracy theory is that the KGB doesn't exist anymore.
