What's the problem? I am Belgian and yes we live without a government since a year. In that period of time, every economical indicator rose. My house is still lit, the heater works and the tap water keeps running. Tax bills keep coming in, speed trap cameras are functionning and the supermarkets have abundant stock. Moreover, we are flooded with so-called "political refugees" who seek and get asylum, a house and money. Belgium is the place to be! Government spending is under control (no government=no spending..). So one again, whats the problem, S&P ?

For the Belgian's one government more or less doesn't seem to matter.

Hey Ludo, would you please show us here in the US how you do it? I would LOVE to see our politicians stop spending or even actually balance a budget!
