the japanese officials have always done verbal interventions - they have been doing it for 50 years plus - they were doing it in the 1980's
I clearly remember every day in 2011 when they did interventions to weaken the yen - every day we had notices here on forexfactory of verbal interventions from the officials

verbal intervention is a normal thing from them - people need to get used to it - it is what they do
