  • US Consumer Confidence Increased Again in December

    The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index® increased in December to 110.7 (1985=100), up from a downwardly revised 101.0 in November. The Present Situation Index—based on consumers' assessment of current business and labor market conditions—rose to 148.5 (1985=100) from 136.5 last month. The Expectations Index—based on consumers' short-term outlook for income, business, and labor market conditions—leapt to 85.6 (1985=100) in December, up from its downwardly revised reading of 77.4 in November. The US economy is good, inflation looks consistent with the current economic situation, which will convince the FED to cut interest rates by the end of the first quarter of 2024 or will increase investor confidence about this.

people always said about the Fed cut rates so why it means no good for usd ? if it happen, mean their hard work in this few years alredy hv result, inflation going down. Dont to pessimist bcs rate cuts, look from another side for this case.
