    Personal income increased $91.2 billion (0.4 percent at a monthly rate) in May, according to estimates released today by the Bureau of Economic Analysis (table 3 and table 5). Disposable personal income (DPI), personal income less personal current taxes, increased $86.7 billion (0.4 percent) and personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased $18.9 billion (0.1 percent). The PCE price index increased 0.1 percent. Excluding food and energy, the PCE price index increased 0.3 percent (table 9).   • Fed's Favorite Inflation Signal Remains 'Stuck' As Wage-Growth Re-Accelerates In May

    One of The Fed's favorite inflation indicators - Core PCE Deflator - rose 4.6% YoY (slightly cooler than the 4.7% exp but still 'stuck' at very high levels). Headline PCE fell back below 4.00% (3.8%) for the first time since April 2021. Even more focused, is the Fed's view on Services inflation ex-Shelter, and the PCE-equivalent shows that is very much stuck at high levels. Personal Income and Spending were both expected to rise on a MoM basis and did but while incomes rose more than expected, spending rose less (+0.4% vs +0.3% exp and +0.1% vs +0.2% exp respectively). long dollar is just too crowded my brother. the price doesnt matter as it just wants to hit those stoplosses. the more stop it hits the more it will push the price up finding more stops. just follow the market along as it does its job.

or should the eurusd pair be eliminated, if this pair is only based on ego, ambition, emotion, excessive and irrational greed ..... prices move only based on against the dominant retail trader orders.

There is nothing in these numbers that suggests a reason for Fed pivot which market keeps insisting is going to happen.
There is some large selling going on as 1.09 E/U is not so easily obtained. Dailies have been peaking at lower highs for past several months.
1.10 strong resistance and 1.11 is gonna be formidable.


A quick peek at weeklies shows this even clearer.
There is good reason to think Market Makers bring price up as they have large sell orders to fill.

There is no way to know everything going on. Perhaps a Bank in big trouble in Europe and Fed is flooding with liquidity via swap lines. Happened recently with Switzerland, not likely to be a one off event.

Economic releases are for long range views, but day trading them can be quite hit or miss.

In my view assuming CB's are lying to hide something is a much better Bet then making a mistake believing them and watching the account evaporate.
Once they were allowed power over Fiat and took a stance that a small group sitting at a Table were better equipped to price discover value then an open market, it has been Chaos.

This PCE not change really much, there are some good news but the FED need to monitoring the situation and eventually do another 0.25 hike.
I think the FOMC will watch the report on occupation for the 6 and 7 of July for taking the decision on Rates.
