    Today’s report is good news for hard working families. It shows continued progress tackling inflation at the same time that unemployment remains at historic lows. Annual inflation is now at the lowest level since March 2021, and less than half of what it was last June. After gas and grocery prices increased rapidly last year due to the war in Ukraine, inflation has fallen for 11 months in a row. While there is more work to do, the plan that I laid out a year ago to bring down the cost of living and sustain stable and steady growth is working. Why is there a commentary from Biden et al, on a routine inflation print?.....Why waste the energy?

Answer: desperate jawboning.

So yeah WH is a joke sounds about right to me.

Inflation data at MAX compares to 12 months ago. Of course it's lower for the 11th month in a row.. it was 5 times the 2% target. It's still DOUBLE what it should be. For the white house to say they continue to bring down the price of fuel is a joke.. it was a fraction of current prices in the previous administration. Buying and begging OPEC to produce more is so sad when we were energy independent a few years ago.. now our energy imports are higher than ever.. gas costs are at $5 a gallon here.. DOWN from $5.50 gallon. Still more than double what they were under the previous administration. It's a joke to hear them say they're making progress on inflation when their actions fueled it to begin with.

I had to watch C Schumer give a speech yday on how they've worked so hard in passing the Inflation Reduction Act... how they raised the debt ceiling.. how they're bring the cost of fuel down. Never said they were trying to fix what they ruined. Term limits on these clowns with foreign interests over ours.
