Yes, thats the most likely outcome. People in poor countries will suffer, as they will be used as slaves and their resources exploited as during colonialism and regular people in the western world will be screwed, too, as they won't be able to afford the same standard of living they are having now. The only people who will benefit from all this will be the elite. In other words, the rich will become richer and even more powerful.

We have seen what "all electric cars" will mean, in California, during electricity outages. People won't be driving, simple as that. No mobility = no freedom. Cars will eventually become a luxury item and regular people will use public transportation only.

There cannot be any more justification for getting people even more poor or indebted than they already are. Numbers don’t lie, and as more productivity will be demanded by those in power, trading will ultimately become illegal. Not sure where u get your information from but it is rubbish. u said Credit Suisse was stable and trusted. Well i am afraid u are very wrong. Credit Suisse was a weak and unstable bank that was struggling to survive for the last 10 years. It has been talked about for 10 years in going bankrupt. It was one of the weakest banks in the world. Its chart is appalling. It looks the same as Lehmans brothers and Bear Sterns before they went bankrupt. Here is the chart of Credit Suisse going back to 2010 - going from 40 to 1 is not strong - it has been in a downtrend for 13 years - that is as weak as. Time for u to do some research before posting stuff i think

Don’t need 8 billion people for that. The boom-phase is over now we are at the beginning of a bust as Soros would put it.
If anybody would believe in an expansion of society and the population, they would of course put their money there.

I however have no idea if traditional growth companies are expanding at this moment, are we gona see more sales of the ordinary kind or of the special kind(pharmaceuticals f.e? this is a good indicator together with population statistics on where things are heading.

The Trade is to keep hunting for and investing in new technology engine companies that are powered from either fossil fuels or renewables such as Hydrogen or other engineered fuels which are currently under development.

This so your investments anticipate the coming failure of new Green Agenda which is bound to create real world pain for a goodly segment of population. Once that pain gets going there will be a mass search for technology rooted in Real World solutions. If you have been diligent the profits will flow like a River.

Nope, still need a few dozen of the 8 billion to grow food and such. Plus little kids to mine lithium. Somehow we keep "needing" illegal immigrants for labor. And a lot of elderly are still working. I'm 72 and transport the deceased, half being younger than me. Not just old and sick from hospitals but I pull bodies out of car wrecks, lakes, fires, etc. A logical society would use what is easiest - crude oil and natural gas. And yes, develop the alternatives for where they are practical.

Saw something about Hydrogen combustion engine...which is getting closer to a Water combustion engine..
I dont think the current powers that be would allow this to move forward..but we will see..

There is currently a small company with an engine which can burn Hydrogen along with a decent list of other fuels.
They are at a significant crossroads having achieved 1000 hours of use before overhaul. So they are quite close. Does not use conventional pistons and valves. Whole different internal configuration.

If your interest is piqued, search around, should not be that hard to find info on it.

Myself, I believe Hydrogen will be the fuel that turns the tide in all of this. Easily made, virtually no emissions other then water and a quick refuel of any vehicle. Handling Safety factor is improving and already fueling stations in certain US localities.

As Farmland is being consumed for alcohol production thru Corn and Solar panels take large areas of arable land. The Green agenda is actually quite a dirty gig.

Farmland should be used for growing Food not political careers.

Simple query - You're in the labyrinth and you have the minotaur chasing after you. You can either A. Keeping running and "following the arrows on the wall" or, B. You can take hold of the string you see at your feet and follow it back to the source to then exit the labyrinth and see the entire situation as it actually truthfully is. What does each person do?

Lost among a river of topics and subjects they will never understand because they prefer to seek retribution. So to young people, I say this - stop using dumb immature "grown ups" as role models for a view on the world. CLEARLY they are ignorant and lack the backbone to learn. The world has layers, both present and past. This is not philosophy it is a FACT of Life for this planet and everything in and on it. So I would start there. If the person matures beyond the problem then there are solutions but not before.

If you want to understand where we're at, go watch the first 30-60 minutes of the first Superman movie 1978 with Christopher Reeve. The scene where Jor-Al is trying to talk sense into the "council". Yes it's a movie but you people seem to think you've got all the time in the world, so a simple audio-visual aid might speed up the process. Allow me to educate people around here so there's no mistake what you're dealing with in reality ......
On this planet you call Earth/home, there are only a small handful of real commodities that matter. If you bother to do real searching throughout history you will find them there, as recurring common denominators ....

1. People (Emotionally, Mentally, Psychologically, Physically, Environmentally, Genetically etc)
2. Land
3. Water
4. Insurance

.... in that order. If you think it's power, profit and politics ..... you're not looking hard enough.

Everything else sprouts from these four. There's no need to disagree here, just go and do some real research and be objective about doing it. The rather disgusting and simultaneously hilarious thing about all these "talks/topics and discussions" is this - people show a complete lack of awareness of reality. I don't see any point mincing words here as most people need to be educated on how the "others" see Life on this planet. If you don't do this then you're just talking out your ass as you're only using your own personal perspective to see "what's important" as far the 'big picture' is concerned. Moronic fake activists who think we should be hanging or killing politicians are no different to those people who allow "society" to guide re: what they think "should be a solution". I always find it both curious and disturbing, when people conveniently "misplace" or "forget about" the number ONE resource and commodity in any "managed/controlled/working" life system that involves a predominant species. Eg. - People and planet Earth. Starting to get the picture yet? So when people "blame" tech, or "dirty resources", or a politician, or money, or trade, or cars or dogs or cows ..... it shows a total ignorance on all levels of existence on this planet. This is the number one problem with "people in the 21st century". You don't know which way your ass is facing. So a person either becomes disconnected and apathetic, a pseudo/wannabe activist or something in between. Once again, not realizing you're in the middle of the situation whether you want to be or not. So why not educate yourself in a way that gives answers to the most imperative questions, instead of chasing symptoms and calling them "solutions". People can choose and it doesn't matter what topic or subject it is. But it's about time people stop trying to be distracted by surface problems and realize the "others" laugh every time "the people" think new tech or a new form of currency etc, is going to change anything or solve their problems. It's a delusion.

So people have to make a choice ...... either commit societal suicide and keep chasing ghosts, or, get real and learn something more. Either you have real sanity or you don't. Good luck in your research.

You shouldn't "need" society to "tell you" anything, you should be able to match up what Life makes available and what is happening. If there is a severe mismatch, then it can only be a problem at the functional fundamental level. Small discrepancies usually do not create big problems as they would/can be handled locally. Understand yet? If people do not begin to learn this well, then they will believe anything that is put in front of them. And there's no intelligence in that.

So uhm does this stop black rot growing on organic grapes?
Does it stop brown rot from wiping out this years peaches?
Does this stop the backyard groundhog from eating that just planted Lettuce?
Does it help bring garden abundance over to the local food kitchen?

I am going to be thorough but I cannot promise I'll be nice about it OK .....

There are 2 types of "young people" .... those who can think for themself and the type who cannot. So that clears that up. If the child is ignorant, yes in part it can be because of the parent/guardian, BUT, here is where real life and your opinion of fault part ways - each person, once they reach puberty and beyond, are handed a type of responsibility in life to think, feel and act as they see fit. This is usually when and why teens rebel. There are things they don't like, don't understand and struggle to find people who DO understand to teach or show them. So ... fault in the sense of generational teaching, falls squarely on the parents / guardians and associated relatives. There should be no question about this as the silly idea that schooling is there to "babysit" children until adulthood is just plain laziness of the grown ups. These so-called grown ups can manipulate themselves, others and circumstances to get what they want during their "adult life", so they are NOT beyond the capacity to learn. Therefore there is no such thing as "too old to learn something". They just don't like hearing it said or pointed out because it shows their true colours as nothing but societal parasites.

For me, I have realized most people are addicted to making up absolute bullshit stories just to feel better, or, to feel they're getting away with something. So "grown ups/adults" are nothing but lazy children who have "survived" long enough to reach a specific age. Not exactly any kind of achievement from where I stand.

So as I have stated before, most people have gotten into many VERY bad habits but are so absent from it all, they don't see the consequences of their actions. Therefore, IF this is so, by following all of this to its natural conclusion, how can they really be anything but little children hiding under the guise of "grown up".

And so, as I have said many times, "pick a topic or subject". They're all interlinked at some level. For me. I'm simply sick of people's false confidences in things that are not real.

It is up to the individual, of any age, to realize the train is heading for an immovable wall. I'm not a nihilist or believer in some other unbalanced ideology. I merely don't excuse "grown ups" for not looking into the serious things ESPECIALLY if they have a child/children.

So, to me, you are really just restating the past-to potential present status quo. It has nothing to do with real life. At some point, a child to an adult will have to see something that doesn't fit or make sense.

People can observe, they don't need to be highly educated and it costs nothing to observe.

The fact that most of you are happy chit-chatting about all the superficial surface stuff proves unanimously you are not responsible humans. But that can change.

The question now is, what will all of you do? Rebel ... like scorned little children? ...... put it on ignore and hope it just goes away on its own? ...... Try to send "your best warriors" to kill the enemy? ....... Keep "trading" and pretend 'there is only trading' ?

As far as I can see, people are not seeing what a problem really is, you all think in terms of 'blame and fault'. It's not surprising then, that many either believe one extreme or the other is responsible. Being oblivious offers no protection or assistance.

Anyway, this conversation has gotten far off track.

Learn or don't learn.

I want to say something to your response here, and you can take it as an opportunity to learn, or dismiss it, but please keep in mind that some things are not ruled by man (Within this I am not automatically referring to God or a god) .....

To put it simply ...... your beliefs are not your own. To believe in something gives rise to the opposing opportunity. Knowing on the other hand, is not what most people think it is. Different types of knowing exist and within some are the believing ingredient. But the belief is based on certainty through extensive awareness (not arrogance or hubris etc) not what one thinks they are entitled to. This is not a play on words, it is very real.

So an eg. - I myself see speech as a way to express myself but I will never give away the ability to freely speak. So the difference between the belief in it and just being it, is paramount. However free to speak is not so people can just hoist their opinions everywhere, that is what a child does to either get attention or to get something. Understand the difference yet?

So a different way to phrase it - you speak freely because you have the capacity, the ability and the timed opportunity, but belief must not be in the vanguard of what you express. In other words - it just IS. You don't need anyone's "permission" or acceptance to do so. To "believe" gives rise to the counterclaim of someone who doesn't "believe" you have the right or, they disbelieve your belief is "valid". Understand? I say this to help fortify your understanding NOT to diminish it OK.

The same goes for the idea of "justified". If you are justified in a way, then surely someone else is also "justified" to present a counterclaim. "You are justified to defend yourself while the attacker is, for eg. also justified to insist YOU started the encounter". Understand? It's just something to think about seeing as man's society has strayed a long way from 'mother nature' and the basics of living.

But beyond all of this, is the evergreen knowledge that many people probably do not even think exists anymore, seeing as we're so "modern" now. But that's for another discussion entirely.

I don't know you or how old you are but in specific context it is indeed true. Young people only really fit in to two categories here with this - those who can think for themself and those who cannot, anyone left is in the "not sure" column. What you stated about them IS true in some ways in some contexts , but if put to the real test, majority are still seeking the approval of the "to be a role models" in their life or in media.

A point to make here - the only young people I have ever met who truly can think for themself inline with the more accurate definition of 'think for themself' are those who really know who they are from a very young age. Here, I'm not talking about sexual preferences etc, I am referring to the basic concept of knowing yourself. And from this, being able to see the world as it truly is..... not good, not bad ... all inclusive.

Social and genetic are coupling but do not have the final say.

IF young people can think for themself, the generational "push" would be different and we would not see them simply following their peers, their leaders, society etc .... they would have already developed real life common sense and would VERY quickly see the real issues and would not be so naive or gullible to get caught up in "society allocated issues of the day" AKA "causes", "cure this, save that" foundations and fundraisers. They would see right through all of that and see what really triggers most of the actual real to life problems. THEN their next task is to either talk to their parents etc about this, but if this doesn't work, they would at least continue to educate themselves in ways where society doesn't just suck them in and spit them out. For all of this to happen, they would need to 'self administer' a new set of priorities into their life. Hard to do when so many "grown ups" are really just childish older people. Young people need to stop listening to idiots who tell them "there's only two choices on how to see it".

The problem with literally most people these days is they don't know their real history, so they are not aware of how often in human history, that normal people have taken back their responsibilities and where society cannot tell them what is what. Young people must earn the knowledge their parents and grandparents ASSUME they have earned.

Every person can learn, regardless of genetics or social upbringing.

What I have written above is a basic generalization. Each person is personally responsible for checking themself as to where they find themself in their own life. Wouldn't Life be so different in this world if people actually learned something rather than wiping their arse on the wall and calling it rebuttal.... or thinking or communication. Some people prove their choice is to lose the label or title of "human". After that it's all downhill into being just like the animals.

I have understood your point (maybe). It takes a while for young people to realise that the metrics or tenets upon which they base judgements and decisions have been installed by someone else, and possibly the installed tenets are merely parroting and ill-considered.
