Does this mean USD will go back to around 150yen? I don't think so. Sure, the huge NFP gain was unexpected and rightly jolted the Fed pivot-camp. The USD gain for now is still cautious. If the next NFP still produce an impressive gain, then the USD's upward path will be continuing and a Fed rate cut in 2023 will be highly unlikely. Given the job cuts at tech companies that is going on, next NFP will be interesting. There are other factors at play and i am not bullish on the USD yet.
