    According to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the real (price-adjusted) turnover of retail enterprises in Germany was 0.9% and the nominal (not price-adjusted) turnover was 1.8% higher in September 2022 than in August 2022, on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis. Compared with September 2021, retail trade recorded a 0.9% decrease in turnover in real terms and a nominal increase of 9.9% in September 2022.
