The important thing is that the Party Faithful dont get to vote. Is this assured?
Just remember that the whole Truss debacle was on the vote of these people AGAINST the vote and advice of the sitting MPs. And hardly surprising because a large proportion of the registered members are now actually Ex-UKIPers, brought in 2018 by a series of targeted recruitment drives by Aaron Banks and the Leave.EU cabal to take over the party. And @£25 a shot..no questions asked ..a cheap little coup.

Globalist?? reminds me of the racist caller to a radio station in London saying that Rishi is not British ie the party members will never ever vote him in. Thank God, it never went before these half-wit racists.

By the way, Globalist is a term which is abhorrent to Jews.

Hopefully one day countries like India and China would also allow Americans and the British to be their PMs and presidents. I doubt that would ever happen. The West is too Liberal in these things, and I am African. I doubt African nations would allow some Westerner be their president even at gun point. You'll hear things like colonisation, bla bla bla

In any country, you have to be a citizen to run for office maybe even be born in that country. Appointment by virtue of merit is the way forward.

Thats the point. And that is that only the West understands merit. Heaven would rather fall than for China or India or even any African country to have a Western president or PM. In some African countries they still fight and kill each other for coming from a different part of their country.

The West has always has always held open hands to most genuine newcomers into their country and they deserve some respect for that. People may argue that the West plundered other continents and countries but then that was norm in days of old, and one can hardly change or undo things that were done in the past.

Nothing to do with race you nutter, there no way that man could be the PM on a vote.

Are you seriously saying enough people joined the conservative party in time to get a vote?
The leadership race was a farce, but this is a super step up.
193 MP's Just put Sunak in No10 with not one vote cast.
81,325 votes put Truss in No 10 =57% of the conservative party.
14 million votes put Boris in power.
There's nothing complicated about how democracy works until people want to ignore or avoid the majority believing they know better.
So 17.4 million votes is a very high turn out decision, a very democratic event.

Lol west place minorities, women, and whoever to run things to appear progressive while the real power lies in the Billionaires and institutional power and intelligence structures who use them as disposable tools and to take the heat. Its not some romantic proof of wests tolerance, but they understand the need to 'appear' that way. Any non western country with strong western ties has a leader who is acceptable looking to the public but has his backing by people who would not be warmly received by the populace if they were brought into light.

In Rishis case they always wanted him in, he is a Goldman Sachs guy and quite conveniently this "chaos" occurred that paved the way to final acceptance of him

Given that we have a parliamentary system and it is the leader of the largest party that gets to form a government ireespective of who that party leader would be, wouldn't what you espouse be un-democratic?

For my pennies worth, as an outsider, I actually believe Sunak is the man for the job and that he will be successful, all he needs is some space, support and a bit of time
He has proven his integrity and his ability in difficult times

I don't think that Liz Truss was wrong in her ideology. Growth - more jobs - lower benefit bill due to higher employment in better jobs - higher overall tax receipts despite lower personal tax rates - pay down some national debt with surplusses and support infrastructure and rebuild services like education, health, transport etc.

Her problem was that she tried to do it all instantly in one go, a quick fix for all, and she fell flat on her face as reality rocked up to the party.

I suspect that ideaology is shared by most politicians. Question is - who can deliver it?

He's the man that signed a doubling of the money printing
a stamp duty holiday, a 30 billion app no one used, PPE fraud extreme mainly from Matt Hancock's pub mate, eat out to help out when people were released from their house, billions in loose rules for emergency loans, gone to fraud when the bank's pre-warned rules should be tighter. The king of dumb ideas now our saviour.
A chancellor who could have acted on energy in April but claimed he was waiting for data & forced to make a wimpy windfall tax when it goes against his grain.
He will continue protecting an energy market which is totally broken while raising money from borrowing more, the same as Truss. Crowbarred into No10.
He is going to fail and be voted out at the first opportunity,
I'm never wrong on the political landscape, unlike Ross, who's always wrong from a lack of understanding of democracy.

There was some new blood after Boris went, but only Truss and Sunak were presented that could turn the ship.
There are others, but this power grab has much force and probably substantial financial backing.
The establishment wanted Sunak. The whole thing has been a closed shop.

Whatever happens from here, the conservatives are toast and then it's the turn of the other lot to screw the country over, favour their pals and generally run everything into the ground. And then it will be back to this lot (who by then will have a new overcoat.) As the conductor says to end Strauss's Perpetuum Mobile at the new year's day concert in Vienna - 'Und so weiter'...

Great choice. At least he can add up.
Looks and sounds confident. A few racists will no doubtattack his background. A pity the media harp on about his colour when most reasonable people look upon him as a capable man who may steer the UK through the economic mire that Mrs Truss and others brought upon the UK.
He might even stay long enough for sleepy Joe Biden to learn how to pronounce Sunaks name properly.

Well, if this is all the mud that Brand can dig up then Sunak is definately the right guy for the job despite poorly managed publicity. Hopefully he has a new publicity manager who actually uses a petrol station or has eaten at MacDonalds etc :-)

no digging required, it's a public domain news story we are to believe, like the normal upbringing backstory is all image,
that's why he could never win any vote and had to be inserted.Course your bring out the race card as the reason.
What people should worry about is how far right the Uk could swing

Meanwhile...
"‘Nothing is going to change!' Farage explains why Sunak will be 'disaster' for Tories"
"“Not necessarily that being rich is a disqualifier, but he cannot even go and talk to people. Not that there's anything wrong with being a teetotaller but can you imagine Rishi sitting down in a working man’s club in Doncaster and talking to the gang? I can’t and I am sure you cannot either."
"“And in terms of the Eurosceptics, in terms of those fighting for Conservative principles, all of that is also out of the window. You will get none of that with Sunak.” "

How far right can the UK can swing?
I was hoping that after the last 6 years of being fucked by the "New" Conservative Party/ERG/UKIP/Tufton St. chaos, even the thickest of the 90% of UK electorate that have been so royally screwed, may be wondering if thats a solution?
No probably not . As all over the world , you will never lose money betting on the naiveity of a cleverly manipulated electorate. Good too to remember that for the "NeoLibertarian "Elite" whose economic machinations they've been subject to - Democracy is the theory that the common people think they know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.

Hey Ross, you were bang on when you predicted Liz Truss would be a disaster. What is your prediction on Sunak?

The question is Screwed by who? The ones that tried bring a new agenda or the ones that ground everything to a halt for three years heralding the age of the Boris? In my view it all goes back much further!
