Unsurprising. It was always the abolition of the top rate that was the hot potato!

We have a chancellor whose political judgement is seriously suspect and a prime minister with less charisma than a goldfish!

Maybe uncapping Bankers Bonuses also be a good idea.?

Doctors dont get a bonus for saving lives?
Firemen dont get bonuses for rescuing folk from raging fires?
Cops dont get bonuses for breaking up armed drug and crime gangs?

Maybe time to reflect if we got our values a bit Fked up? No?

I think the bonus thing has been very in the background- that's kind of allowing them to earn more (potentially) as opposed to just giving them more money while screwing the very groups you talk about through really rubbish pay deals (not to mention those at the very bottom of the scale being squeezed). Something of a perceptual difference perhaps...?

A major understatement. She may go down in history as the first UK prime minister to [email protected] up the economy and wreck the reputation of the Tory party - all within her first week !!!
