Japanese Yen is now a toilet paper because of their monitoring.

They’re so dumb. Intervene all u want price is going to continue to rise for uj right after. Wasting them billions of dollars each time making their efforts completely pointless.

Stil negative rates on the short terms, but higher yields on the 9 yr and 20 yr than the 0.25% cap on the 10 year JGB! Insane. BOJ, please stop trying to stop the tide coming in, and do your domestic savers a favour by letting rates rise and giving them some yield. In fact, you may find that as net savers (most of Japan's public)
get more interest income, they will spend more. If BOJ doesnt raise rates, the Yen will continue to devalue and your balance of payments will continue to worsen due to more expensive imports of oil etc
