The annual change in the flash estimate of the CPI stands at 10.2% in June
The estimated annual inflation of the CPI in June 2022 is 10.2%, according to the flash indicator prepared by the NSI. This indicator provides a preview of the CPI which, if confirmed, would mean an increase of one point and a half in its annual rate, since in May this variation was 8.7%, and would be at its highest level since April 1985. This evolution is mainly due to the increase in fuel prices, higher this month than in June 2021, and in food and non-alcoholic beverages, compared to the stability recorded last year.
