Key statistics: • The Australian economy rose 0.8% in seasonally adjusted chain volume measures • In nominal terms, GDP rose 3.7% • The terms of trade rose 5.9% • Household saving ratio decreased to 11.4% from 13.4% table Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rose 0.8% this quarter, following a rise of 3.6% in December. In contrast to previous COVID-19 strains, there was continued growth in economic activity through the peak of the Omicron variant outbreak.
