I thought ECB is the worst central bank out there...but it seems BoJ is a tough "competitor". Run by old dinosaurs, who always act too late.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

I reckon they are going to wait a little bit longer then the pair will plummet, happened before with EUR/USD, and its gonna happen again. Time to liquidate the idiots that buy at the highest price because of FOMO. Happened with Oil, happened with Gold, its the same old shit. If you get headlines like these you know time is over and you're too late to the party.

I think you are correct in the first part of your statement. Because I'm such a good trader I have been short USD JPY (nope ist hasn't broke me) but yes I have made losses.
Anyhoo it has drawn my attention to the fact the BOJ hadn't moved one iota on rates. (which is nothing new historically) They have not found a window to raise rates significantly for a long long long time.
Yes they are ALL run by dinosaurs most of which should have retired to allow in new blood and ideas. They will never let us know their thinking I guess BOJ has worked out that rate raising would be absolutely catastrophic so they haven't and will not do it.
My tin hat theory on the EURO. I have approx 30 years life left if I make it to current average age the EURO will die or SIGNIFICANTLY alter before then.
#Just a thought
The elites think we are stupid. They are in the main quite correct.

What does Japan do in this situation? There debt is growing by the day and like you said they can't raise the rates. Japan has been accommodative for so long now. Looking at the charts IMO yen can still weaken further. It's definitely a sticky situation for a CB in what moves/policy they can implement with so much downside risk.
The markets are like water it ebbs and flows.
